Service availability
The University Occupational Health Service (OHS) is updating its IT / database system.
Benefits of the new OHS IT system
- The upgraded system (OPAS-G2) is designed for role-based access
- Managers will be able to access OPAS-G2 with a unique log-in to make online referrals, which will speed up processing of the referral. The status of referrals can be communicated to the manager / referrer via the application / system.
- Appointments (face to face, telephone or web consultations) will be offered by OHS and automated notifications by email and/or text message can be sent to individuals and the referrer.
Implementation of the new OHS IT system
There will need to be a period of transition whilst training and log ins are provided to managers / service users. Due to current resourcing capacity, the OHS will continue accepting management referrals using the existing system from 21 August 2023. Further information and instructions about using the IT system will be issued in the next few weeks.
