Occupational Health

Since the University of Cambridge implemented its Coronavirus contingency plan in March 2020, the Occupational Health Service (OHS) has been operating with personnel working remotely from home and this will continue for the foreseeable future.  As a result we currently have limited access to our database/appointment system and records and are unable to offer routine face-to-face appointments.  Once we know when we are able to resume face-to-face appointments again, we will make plans to reschedule any missed appointments.

As of week beginning 01 June 2020, as some University staff begin the process of returning to the workplace, the OHS will have a reduced number of personnel working within the department on a Tuesday and Friday each week.  Having access to the department will enable us to allocate appointments that are necessary for staff / students who require occupational vaccinations / blood tests as part of any ‘health clearance’ required for work. We will however continue to offer advice and management / self-referral appointments via telephone consultations until such times as we can resume  routine clinic appointments again.

Covid-19 testing for University and College staff

In partnership with Addenbrooke’s Hospital, part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, from Wednesday 03 June onwards, all University of Cambridge and College staff with symptoms of possible SARS-CoV-2 infection (COVID-19) are being offered a swab (PCR) test.   Please see link below for further information, including how to request a test:
