Occupational Health (OH) aims to complement the University's academic reputation by providing a service that promotes and preserves both the physical and mental wellbeing of all staff. Our mission statement which is 'to prevent ill health and promote health amongst University staff '.

Occupational Health Service closure / availability

The OHS will be closed for normal activity from 12 – 23 January 2026 inclusive for IT system development and essential training.

Occupational Health offers a wide range of services aimed at reducing ill health at work and supporting those at work with health problems and disabilities.

Referrals information
Referrals: Information & Guidance

If there are concerns that work may be affecting a staff member’s health, or that a health issue may be impacting their ability to carry out their role, a referral to OH should be made. OH can provide advice and support to help manage these concerns effectively.

From 10 November 2025, all referrals must be submitted to OHReferrals@admin.cam.ac.uk using the updated Management Referral Form. We will continue to accept the previous version of the referral form until 08 December 2025.

Job Hazard Evaluation update

As from 01 March 2025, an updated OHF29 form should be completed and returned to JobHazardReferrals@admin.cam.ac.uk for all new starters and existing staff and students whose job role changes or there is a change in hazard exposure.
