Research Passport

Researchers employed by the University of Cambridge who wish to undertake research within the NHS setting and have no contractual agreement with the NHS may be required to apply for a research passport. Part of this application process may require Occupational Health (OH) clearance, depending on the activities being undertaken

To comply with these NHS requirements, if it is identified that OH clearance is required as part of the research passport process, then an OH assessment may be required. Please speak to your HR adviser to initiate this process.

If starting a new position at the University of Cambridge, when completing the job hazard evaluation form the research passport box should be ticked for the post and the completed research passport assessment form OHF10 returned to OH.
