New University of Cambridge Car Parking Policy: Requests for OH support for parking

In accordance with the introduction of the new University of Cambridge Car Parking Policy, where a request for parking is being made on medical grounds, Occupational Health will be able to provide copies of reports from previous consultations to provide medical evidence, where this already exists.

If an OH assessment has not previously been undertaken in relation to this, please see below for the evidence required to support your application.

Please note, new OH assessments are not required for the purpose of completing the application, and so appointments for this reason will not be offered.

You can provide a scanned copy of a GP note, or an Occupational Health report if one is available. Other evidence (such as a MATB1 form for pregnancy or consultant note) can also be provided. Specific details of your condition can be redacted prior to submission so only minimal information is disclosed. Further information is below.

If you do not wish to provide the evidence above or do not have any evidence, you can ask your Departmental Administrator to confirm that this is a reasonable adjustment, by selecting the ‘Department evidence check' option. Your DA may need to speak to your Line Manager to confirm the reasonable adjustment.

You do not need to request a OH assessment from the occupational health team solely for the purpose of completing your application.
